    NPEA Dagger

    my new one .
It´s a early full nickel dagger.
    70% orginal paint.
The scool is rar is Schulpforta Klosterschule near Naumburg.
I think is not a mint dagger but 100% original and a nice patina.

If anybody know a "Koppelschuh" please let me know.

    Best Seb.

Really nice early piece! These are really unique pieces to me and I would love to add one to my collection eventually!

Just for general understanding why „vintagetime“ is in the posession of pics from this certain dagger: As last owner of this certain dagger (I for sure knew I had a winner as I know it for all items of my personal collection!) I once did decide to sell it and did offer it to potential buyers. „vintage“, who (beneath several other potential buyers) got pics from me mailed only for business reasons, seemed to be interested but never told me „I take it“, never told me of his concrete interest, but generally asked if there would be a better price for this item. In the meanwhile I got a concrete invoice for an NPEA dagger (from the gentleman who now owns this dagger). These certain negotiations were very short and immediately this gentleman did decide to buy this dagger from me and told me „I take it“ (Only due to certain personal circumstances it did dure until the gentleman finally now has the dagger in his hands but business was done long before).<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
When I gave notice to „vintagetime“ that the dagger is no longer available I got some really inequitable nasty words.<o></o>
Now I see my personal business pics posted here in public which I do not appreciate and furthermore I do not understand why it was done and cannot see any sense in doing this beside that here acts a bad, a very bad looser. <o></o>
I would not have disclosed the story if there would not have appeared my personal just for busines pics. The gentleman who has bought the dagger shall know why there are these pics in other hands the same public way the pics are shown here.<o></o>
The dagger for sure is on the right deserved place and I hope it will stay there for a very long time.<o></o>
                  Greetings from daggers.<o></o>

                    Great looking dagger.
Seems clear the unauthorized pics should be taken down, daggers you will probably have to request a mod to do it, as posters are not allowed to modify their own posts, as you know.

If the item was offered forsale and the pictures were supplied with no caviot, what is the problem with the use of the photos? I find that normally anything posted on the internet without a stated limit or copywrite (even this is not reflective of use limits in the case of "for educational purposes") often becomes public domain property.

Common sense and decency would say that if a persons personal pics are posted on a forum such as this without his blessing, they should be removed.
Not at all a legal issue.

There ist a difference between "postet on the internet" and a privat e-mail with attached pictures.
If you sending an collector an information via e-mail do you wish to find it later at the www?

I recently came across one for sale for 850. It is the same maker without the extra etching on the cross guards and it has the frog. I cannot seem to download the photos to attach but can email them if anyone would like them. What I was trying to find out is 850 a decent price to buy one if it is period made?
