got a few new goodies the last few days, here is one of them .

2'nd model Alcoso Luftwaffe dagger.


Played a little with the new camera... what do you think?

Alex the maker mark was used around 1940 not 1937-39.

Fantastic pictures - I agree what a great test subject you have there!

Nice ALCOSO with a fair amount of gilt left on the pommel.
Daggers are tough subjects to photograph and you've done well with your new camera.

Fine looking dagger, fine close ups, only a bit more precise focus with the first pictures please. (fuzzy me )

I've seen some of JR's pix, he is still miles and miles ahead of me.... but I'm running fast
