SA dagger

hello, i am being offered this SA dagger and i dont know enough about it to make a purchase. i believe it is real and it was originally brought back by a WWII veteran (what im told) it is an early type and the maker is HACO BERLIN. what do yall think about this dagger and what would be a good price for it?

Okay, nice handle, blade has been heavily cleaned and looks retipped to me...it should measure just under 8 and 3/4 inches....be careful here,Haco is a good maker and somewhat rare but in this condition we are looking at about 450.00 if its re-tipped the price goes down to 250-300 and I say that with reservations, to me broken blades hold no allure no matter how well they are retipped.
