    Rescue my NSKK Dagger

I just picked this dagger up in a trade from a friend. The maker is Justinuswerk and the bade is in good shape except for several dents in the blade due to kids playing swords with it. Can anyone tell me is it fixable without damaging it it and where does this maker rank on the rarity scale.

There is nothing that can be really done. It is what it is. A shame but nonetheless an original piece.

It IMO it's fixable but a bit tricky. The blade would have to be heated up enough to remove the temper. Those dents could then be flattened restoring the blade to it's original shape since it doesn't appear any metal is actually missing. The blade would then have to re re-tempered by heating it and then quenching it in oil. If this were mine I'd find a blade/metalsmith to do the restoration.

This is from a memory but I think it is 7 on the list.

Last question, in this condition, what is it worth?
