SS Dagger Chain Opinions?

Hello, I'm not familiar with this area, but having looked at several postings here, i don't think the SS markings are like some i've seen.. the borders on around the skull & SS insignia are different.. I'm not sure if this is a variant.. opinions appreciated in advance. DJ

IMO The shape of the skulls,chain links,and SS proof marks are all wrong.

Bogus, Russian made several years back.

The skulls give it away...A few basic reference books really help out with this stuff.
