WKC Engraved Dress bayonet

Got this a little while ago. Cost £80 a bit rough lots of plating lift, but not expensive. Opinions welcome.

I agree with Patrick that this etch pattern is correct for WKC but the detail in your pictures is too fuzzy to tell for sure if the etching is period or not. Can you post some closer & more detailed pictures of the etch corners & reverse grip plates/rivets? Thanks.

Jenko,

The pics aren't the best, particularly with the flash & the lack of focus. That said, the rivets look OK as does the blade & hilt itself. It's tough to say if the blade etch is period but I think you've got a real chance at it being fine, at least from what we can see here.

Looks pretty good to me to and for that price i say you did well. If you dont like it i guess i could take it off your hands lol.
