Opinions wanted on Kriegsmarine dagger

Hello!

I want opinions about this Kriegsmarine dagger. The dagger has the "gehäng", but not the "portepee". According to the owner this dagger came, together with other material, out the stuff of a former Kriegsmarine officer. But, we all know this stories. It may be true, but you can not rely on it.

I just heard the selling price: 1100 euros. That is 1320 us dollar if I am correct!

That is a lot of money and (I think) way overpriced.

So, I seriously have to think it over to buy this dagger

Frans, I agree that theprice is too high. I would think a dagger in that condition would sell for about 1000 to 1100 dollars. Hey! Make the seller and offer.
