Hi, yes its possible to have survived 70yrs in this stunning condition, late war production Carl Eickhorn thats been stored away in the perfect conditions, probably never been used by the looks of it, Congrats!!!

I have the same knife by Eickhorn in the same condition, so, yes, these are found either at the factory or in a retail outlet and unissued IMO.

Excelsior, if you dont like it i will take it! Wonderful Piece and a HJ-Knife in this condition is very very hard to find! The most of them are well used!
