    Spitzer Sa Dagger for review

SA by Spitzer just arrived today, I gather spitzer is a common maker. Also plated nickel fittings on scabbard is this common on maker marked SA or is it probably a replacement. Thanks in advance for comments

an early Maker marked dagger like this "should" have all solid nickel fittings. Bottom crossguard looks plated? The Scabbard would/should have been originally anodized as well.

I have not had it apart yet but I am fairly certain its solid nickel on the bottom crossguard.

        I do not see a gau stamp on the bottom crossguard...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>
        Eagle looks to be aluminum...<o></o>
The scabbard is a RZM for sure.<o></o>
My suspicion is a parts dagger....<o></o>

On closer inspection lower guard is plated, so is likley to be a parts dagger, the guy I got it off as had it a very long time as well. its not likely a recently put together dagger but parts all the same luckily it was not expensive.
