You could display them without scabbards. It looks like a school boy got to some of the other scabbards and scrubbed the hell out of them removing any original finish.

What's the short one on the left in the first picture?

the error was in picking up 2, quickly followed by lots more, all came from different place UK & US so no one school boy has been a scrubbing.

Hi Mike,

Is it marked or dated? Can you post a pic of it out of the scabbard? (The scabbard might be from WWII since it has the throat screw on the side).

the scabbard is remade to take the shorter blade also shorter, could be for turk's etc after war, i cant remember the date off my head, its around 1900s i think, (originally it would be a leather scabbard)

Same with the shorterned butcher, also with scabbard thats now shorter with the throat reattached by some handy metalwork, again possibly turkish etc.
