Before asking here, I tried myself to find out. But could not. I am not familiar with bayonets, with the makers and etc. And the prices that saw were so different, seems depends on maker, condition, etc. Really noone knows what is the approximate value of this?

              Hi Theodor

I really dont know the answer top your question either but for your info I paid USD 200.00 for mine but it is in mint unissued type condition & from a dealer. I know Andy Hopkins was selling one in better condition (IMO ) for USD 125.00. Have you tried looking at the dealewrs sites like Johnson, Wittman & GAilen David etc or try the ruptured duck. For me I wouldnt pay to much for it but maybe that maker is rare etc try on the GD forum, as there is one forum run by the BCN they should be able to help.
              Regards
              Craig

Thanks Craig! These are tough, they look almost all the same /to me /, but for people with more knowledge there are big differences... Thanks!

                  Hi Theodor

More than one thing make your sales price on K98 bayo's. The quality is very important, do the bayo match? I mean are the blade and scabbard from the same maker, year and #. The maker and year are they rare or normal so after answering all this questions you have a chance to see where you are.
Not saying too much about bayo. but there are a couple of "problems" that will make the bayo not that expensive. If you took a look at Ebay you will have the answer quick but about 50$ maybe a little more I guess.

                  Regards
                  Kim

                    Here's mine

Theodor - just for your reference here's mine, all matching, as these are relatively common for me I prefer the ones in better condition

Yes, I klnow about the scabbard /at least this /, IU said it in the beginning, the scabard is not matching, not the same like the blade number/maker. Thank you very much for your answers, this was what I wanted to know!

Hello Theodor, hello only two small comments, when the bayo is from area of south east Europe, then it was removed the grips and turned up the screws, when from US, i would tend to carefully, while one firm made a repro 98k bayos, all are marked clc43, with misssmatched bard? What is on Your bard? The WaA519 are correct on pommel?
