SS Dagger - is it the real thing?

Hello All you Experts out there....
Found this one 4sale and want your opinion on this pretended SS Dagger….
    Is it the real thing?
    Pics are here: http://www.tradera.com/auction/Image...?aid=120550238
(a mouse click on each pic will size it up a little….)

My gut feeling says there is something fishy with the Eickhorn engravings on the blade…. Why the “extra numbering”? Or can that be?
And the handle reflexes/shadows doesn’t look symmetrical to me -- or am I fooled by the “camera angle effect”?

What does your expertise say about this dagger?

While the photos are pretty bad, this is a legit makers mark for a transitional blade. Looks like the blade's in pretty rough condition.
    Ignored Due To Invisibility.

Something seems odd about the rounded appearance of the grip by the upper crossguard. Could be a trick of the lighting, but at a very minimum I would want to see some better photos.

Grip looks indeed like early Eickhorn grip, insignia look OK as well, but there is something strange in general appearance of the dagger and the look of other parts. Sometimes it's even hard to point the details or justify, it's more about the "feeling" you get after handling many original daggers. IMHO it's something I would pass on.

This dagger "maybe" could be good but you need better pictures!

Thank you Sirs, for letting me take part of Your knowledge. As usual, that have now extended my own know how a little bit more.
My gut feeling says that something isn’t right with the blade. So I’ll step down on this one and wait for the next offer to turn up….
