Date of introdution of SS Sword knot

Can anybody supply me with the date of the introduction of the SS Sword with runes on the stem. Even better would be a source document.

I heard it was late 1935. There are Knot examples with '35' date on them.

Do you think it was introduced simultaneously with the sword? The reason I ask is that I see it on bayonets and sabres worn by members of the SS Politische Bereitschaften at what looks like an earlier date.

From what I heard from the knowledgeable collectors regarding this, it appears that there was an introduction of the SS Officers Knot prior to the SS Honor Degen of 1936. Why? .... Like many other things in this hobby there is no answer.
Perhaps they just wanted to delineate their swords already in issue with a SS Porteppee until Himmler approved the official 1936 model degen?
Just my guess.

My SS knot is tagged and dated 35...its an original to the piece on a silver Lionhead.
