RAD EM Hewer ?

G/day guys, Im visiting relatives in England at the present and my God Mother has just turned up bearing a gift for me. She found this Dagger along with a few other items in my Godfathers wardrobe ... A war souvenir.
Am I right in thinking its a RAD EM Hewer ? (my main focus is EKs). When I get it back to Oz should I clean the blade or should it be left as it is ?.

Looks like a good one leave it as is imo.

Agreed, it looks original. I wouldn't clean it at all, just wipe any dirt off it with a clean cotton rag & leave as is. I presume there's no active rust on it?

The blade may have some darkening but the piece has character & to have received it from your Godmother is something special IMHO. You did quite alright, sadly I've never received such a gift.
