Gary is spot on,the easy clue is in the maker's mark,Berlin is the giveaway.As HACO(SA daggers) were the onlyT.R. dagger producer to use this location in their trademark as far as I'm aware.

Actually no daggers were produced in Berlin. HACO firm was only a distributor, the same as Karl Burgsmüller was a distributor of NPEA daggers.
Things to remeber for the rest of life: Any dagger except HACO (SA) and Karl Burgsmüller (NPEA) with Berlin on the blade is a F.A.K.E.
