Opinions on this sword please

Hello all,

I know very little of edged weapons so I'm looking for some help on this one. Can somebody please identify what style of sword this is? This is a Robert Klaas NCO degen, correct?

Yes, your sword appears to be a Klaas Model Nr. 232 with the engraved Wehrmacht Addler on the langet. A standard sword that was worn by Army Officers or Senior NCOs.

Might be in need of a new grip..but that's just my opinion.

On a serious note, the 232 is a neat pattern of saber.
