police troddel

Hello all

I just bought this nice police troddel but I have a question.

On police troddel, the center line is normally 100% red and the side ones are silver, but on this one the center line is red and silver.

Is there is an explanation for this ?

This is normal for the Officer Portepee. The NCO Portepee does not have the extra aluminum wire beside the red stripe.

The strap is very large and I think it is for a police sword.

The bulb also looks a little large. It might be for a sword instead of a bayonet but I've seen smaller knots on swords & larger knots on bayonets often enough so I think it's more of an aesthetic difference rather than anything else.
