I'm not specialist in NSSK chained daggers , but this one looks OK to me. Very nice condition too.

I am not sure about this but my understanding is that the inside of the fittings should not be plated or something along those lines, are yours? Looks real to me.

Well I wouldn't be so sure.
Please study this model. Look at color photos of authentic example as seen in Johnson's Large Reference book. Note the color, note how the finish is applied.
But before I give it the 'thumbs down' can you show a clear macro shot of the 'Korpsfuhrung' stamp on on link?

                        IMO it's a fake.
Fake chain attached to a real SA dagger then brass plate washed to try to imitate original finish.
These are coming out somewhere in Europe.

Compare the photo of the link with eagle. Plus look at the clip. See the lack of crispness? See the recesses have casting goo? Look also at the rounded edges of the links compared to a original shown here.

before i take the picture i put some oil on it to protect it
but it gives a shiny look

i better could take the pictures before oiling it

It is still fake under the oil.

Look at the chain link and clip quality between your dagger and the link of another members I posted above.
This is a Bad dagger IMO.
Perhaps you should get some other opinions first before sending it back.

Hopefully you didn't buy it on 'Alegro' or 'militaria 321' where they sell a lot of these type of repros to unwary collector in Europe.
