                    Dave,
The Army dagger looks to be real and in pretty good shape.....the two luftwaffe daggers have big problems condition wise....the yellow handle one has a poor condition grip and the black handle one has a totally replaced grip...
so both these would need extensive (and expensive) restoration to be worth having. Of course they have "parts value"......but unless they are reasonably priced I'd save my money.

Mostly depends on the price and your collector interests.....none have hangers or knots ......and are still considered "common" as far as daggers go.....as a dealer I would sell the Army somewhere in the $300./400.00 range, but would have a hard time getting more than $150./200.00 for either of the Luftwaffes....unrestored......so you can do the math. Nobody wants bad condition ......

Of cousre, if "cheap"....then worth restoring the Luftwaffes....otherwise I'd pass.
                    John G.

Do the luft have a makers mark? Army is good from what I can see from the pics. Dark blue handle luft would be desirable piece if everything is good on it, but IMO somebody took them apart at some point and change some parts.

                          They look to be okay.
Certainly like the condition of the WKC Army dagger.

                          Best wishes,
                          Ian

the black handle luft (known variant ) looks ok , `springy` wire loose but could be sorted and ferrule upside down ( easy remedied) , yellow grip luft is ok but grip poor , army ok , im sure the dark gripped luft would fetch £300 and army similar over here in uk , light grip luft £250, on a good day more each .

                              Dave,

I've seen these pictures before, the only one with real colector value IMHO is the WKC Heer. The dark gripped Luft & cream colored Luft have "parts" issues, neither blade is marked & neither have crossgraining which means someone shined the hell out of them. Additionally the WKC looks like someone took a polish to it too but it seems to have held up better overall over the years & looks all original as it is.

The other problem is the helmets that were offered with this lot, unless you were looking to pick them up too. The green one was missing decals & a liner which to a dagger guy like me is useless. The fire helmet looked in nice condition & although the Luftschutz was conditioned fine, it's a somewhat common item. Everyone today thinks their stuff is a gold mine. You buy a lot & then try to sell, sometimes just seeking to get back what you put into it. One of the primary issues when buying from a noncollector, differentiation between good stuff & just stuff.
