age of german bayonet.

Hello I picked this Bayonet up at an auction back in the winter and just now got around to finding out anything about this. I know its German but think it is post war. What are the thoughts?

not specialized, but looks like a M95 bayonet made in Germany for the chilean army...

Judging by the logo of WKC I would say WW1 or earlier.

Right you are. I banged my head on the desk trying to figure out the shield/star. many thanks!
Well that would be nice if it was WWI or earlier. The blade is in very good condition with no edge ever have been put on it.
