Have any of you seen this maker on an HJ knife?

It's a good one_blade has quite a bit of buffing.

Is this a rare maker? I've never seen this mark before. I'm looking to buy this knife, do you think the condition and maker warrant a $200-$300 pricetag? The scabbard (not photographed) is in avg - fair condition.

Seldom seen maker of hj knife, good price at $200-$300, but as already said its has a buffed blade & also looks to have been heavily sharpened.

For 200-300 is not too bad. It is more on the lower lever of that price range.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Aren't these blades usually found heavily sharpened? As for the buffing, where do you see this, just on the one side with the inscription, because the other side appears to have quite a few sharpening scratches which looks normal to me?
