A fairly easy conversion of a regular Army enlisted man's dress sword to an "SS" sword, from time to time they surface. With the ones I have looked at closely, generally it looks like somebody used a rotary engraver (or equivalent) to create the Sigrunen. With some examples having lots and lots of paint filling in the Runes it gets more difficult to determine what is underneath. But with one example that I recall I could still smell the odor of fresh paint. FP

I thank you very much. I never seen one of these before. I assumed it was very rare or messed with. Sure do appreciate your time...David

I agree, very easy "conversion" of a cheap sword into "SS item" always in demand.
