          Bayonet

          You have a firemans bayonet.
Some wise guy nailed it to a wall for display.

            Thanks
As for the hole in the frog is because there used to be a rivet which is now missing...I don't think nobody would have nailed it to the wall
Any ideas of the value of this set and furthermore were firemen daggers always unmarked?
I find quite strange not to find any kind of markings...

They usually cost no more than $120- 135. I've never seen a rivet in the place where there is a hole now, strange.

Ace, I have seen a few that were drilled or punched to hang from a nail on the wall.

I often find KS98 bayonets with frogs that have such holes. I believe they all are from poor attempts to display the sidearm.

                    Hello Ace,

I've seen many frogs nailed to the wall. Yours looks like they looked.

Lots of the fire bayo are unmarked and the asking price would be about 120 from a dealer and probably no more than 100 on the Estand.

                    Regards,
                    Stu

OMG...it pays to be an idiot to nail something like that to a wall
Anyway thanks a lot again you all for your answers
