Gentlemen, I bought this fighting knife for a high price from the US. Receiving it I noted that the wood looks like new, which might have the reason that the whole knive has been polished, but I am not sure. The makers mark is not on the side of the blade where it is found usually. The grip is thicker than with those I have inspected so far. I ask for experts' opinions. Thank you in advance.

looks like a replica to me

i dont like the stamping or the way the scabbard looks new or the ricasso construction

I have 3 of this style and none have the wood wider than the guard.
