Another Heer dagger......

I'm not really a dagger collector but a few have found their way to my door, here is a Heer, unmarked. I'm reasonably sure it's good but would welcome any comments about it from those more learned in this field. The portepee looks a bit long, is this correct or should this belong on a Kriegsmarine dagger...... I have one of those without a portepee......
Is it possible to identify it to a maker?
There are initials on the reverse of the crossguard.

The generic type crossguard is used by many manufacturers. Nice dagger.

Take the picture of the bottom of portepee and we can tell you if it is army or navy.

IMO a straight piece....seems they made some longer like swords makers do for the mans height. Might be an explanation...but did you check for the billet clamp marks on the tang, or see any other marks on the tang? I like this one .

Looks good to me, if there are billet clamps on the tang (I believe there are) everything is in perfect order.
