I've seen this one before.
If all the metal is "pure silver", and I wouldn't put much faith in that, its worth its weight in silver, and maybe a little extra for novelty value.

there was a picture of the whole collection (where this dagger came from)posted on the forum. About 6 mon. ago I found it, but now I did search for it and I cannot find it. Does anybody have it? It showed about 60 or 70 SS pieces some real some like this.

I found an earlier WAF thread on this dagger which was very informative. Like another previously discussed postwar fake with bad timing (the "SS Kaltenbrunner” Damascus sword) it shows the full inscription for the dagger as follows: “SS Panzer Grenadier Division Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler” - which was formed with that title at the end of 1942. Not earlier, as the style of trademark would seem to indicate. The difference being that here we have two examples of the dagger (how many more are there??) - versus the single known example of the sword.

It’s just some more postwar junk to clutter up the collecting landscape. FP

There were lots of pics of that fantasy collection there, I'll browse around and see if I can find it, and feel free to do so yourself if you have access to search there.
I'm guessing it will either be in the misc daggers forum, or SS.

Hello GESUNDHEIT. I'm trying to find any idiot. I also have not written 100% original, right? If it is fake is fake but very good fake. Ivory is 100% - I tested it. Silver 800 is also right - I have also examined. As we all know there are also collectors of such things.

Here is what you say:

It is a hybrid fake/fantasy, yes, an interesting and quality work, yes it has some value, and yes some people would want to buy it.
Is it actually silver & ivory ? I can't say, not sure what your guarantee consists of, and wouldn't care to find out, to be honest.
But you sound a little too excited trying to sell this thing, especially in light of the spam-like offers many other collectors have received about this very same [type of] dagger, over a period of months.
Does newsletter@jahr-gang77.de sound familiar to you ?

Thing to do, if you want to sell, put it on the estand for repros, or the dagger stand, if you can stomach a little debate about it.
Non paying members can't attempt to sell, that is a offense you can get banned for AFAIK.
