I just picked up this between the wars bayonet. It is marked on the scabbard and crossguard. Anybody know what unit? value range?

    TIA.

    bayonet

Nice bayonet! The unit mark is for the 16th company of Infantry Regiment 10 weapon number 85. Matched WuK bayonets in decent condition are rather hard to come by. What is the date [they were dated between 1927-1930] on it?

Looks like a 25 on the spine. There is a stamp with a 25 on the pomel too.
What do these go for? I might be working on a trade and need a value range. tia!

          bayonet

If the date on the spine looks like it might be a "25" than it is a worn down "28" or "29". If it is a very clear "25" than it is either a very rare bayonet [because no known WuK dated 1925 exists to my knowledge] or something is wrong. It looks real good in the scans. IMHO it would probably go in the neighborhood of $225.00-$250.00 or so. Hope this helps.

Too bad. The spine is un readable.
