    German Sawback

    Hi,
Being offered a sawback version of the SG 84/98. I know that the Germans were issued sawback bayonets during WWI, but I've never heard of them during WWII. So guys, what are your opinions?

    Thanks.

    Sawback

Can't view the link. It is a a split decision on whether these are correct or not, certainly WW1 had them but I am of the opinion that the later WW2 k98's were not produced as a sawback. The detail on the sawback of versions I have seen do not measure up to the earlier types, also the markings do not have the crispness of TR manufactured pieces, they are often Waffen marked though, but again the versions I have seen are dubious. This is just my opinion, you may find someone who has the opposite view,as I say some like them some don't.
    Regards,Ivan

      Hello
I think it is one of the many fakes we can find on the market at this moment. If you have a photo it would be interesting.

      best regards
      Alain
