Double Maker Marked Butcher Blade Bayonet

    Gentlemen,

I just picked up this bayonet, and i have a couple of questions...As always, your help is greatly appreciated. It is pretty standard fare and is not matching numbers, but i could use help with the full name of the & Rossman Berlin maker. I also wonder about the Henckels logo on the opposite side. Any information that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Jeremiah

I also had a question about the Imperial Proffmark in use here. It is unlike my others. Also, the spine is not dated...Only proofed.

              Jeremiah,

Henckels was the manufacturer of your bayonet. Frister & Rossmann, Berlin finished & marketed Henckels products, according to Fisher's maker mark book. It is a combination that's been previously seen on Imperial blades but may have extended into the Weimar zeit.
