Does it have makers mark? Do you have a picture of the the other side of the blade?

If rzm is the only maker on the blade then it is bad.

When they have rzm code only, then they are late period and they did not have moto put on the blades.

REPRO artificially aged hj knife with a genuine scabbard, rajko84 you do get period RZM marked only blades with the motto, its on the opposite side from the RZM mark & not like this repro shown above with motto & RZM mark on the same side.

            Cheers Scott.

Besides the blade: wrong insignia and wrong shape of the quillion.

                Thank you Scott,
I am always learning more. I used

http://www.lakesidetrader.com/HJlesson.html to learn how to see bad HJ knifes.

You can see the casting seem on the finger guard, not seen on period knives, the grips jump out as bad on first glance. looks like a decent scabbard but rest is all repro/fake.

RZM and Mottos are found, not very often, such as on M7/14 knives

if its nice and cheap , might be worthwhile for the scabbard alone

Sorry but I disagree, I think if there are knives with motto and RZM code

[QUOTE = rajko84; 3716956] Cuando se dispone de un código RZM solamente, entonces están época tardía y que no tenían moto puesto en las hojas.

Do these knives also have casting marks on the quillion? There are certainly transitional pieces with both, but this isn't one of them.
