Don't buy one with a repainted scabbard.
Big Minus in the dagger world.

I agree. The re-painted scabbard would steer me away from this one - especially as my first dagger.

Besides the repaint the Blade appears Very tired IMO and that is where the money is. Granted it's only $400 it is what it is. I would spend much more and get great condition.
