Teno Dagger, Need help on this.

I have been offered an Eickhorn TENO dagger. The seller wants $2500.00 US I have only spoken with him over the phone thus far. He said his father brought it back from the war. Good condition. A small bit of corrosion on the hilt and crossguard. The blade is clean. He has done a bit of research and found out it was made in 1939. Based on this would I be getting a good deal? As I get more information I will pass it along.

Andy, you will need some photographs before anyone can really tell you much. Is it a hewer or leaders dagger? Condition will determine how good a deal it is.

I agree, but if it is a leader for that price and in that shape that you said that is a good price for the dagger.

It is a leaders dagger. I have not yet seen it in person. He is supposed to bring it over next week. Thanks
