unknown dagger TR, black handle

Hi,

seller tells me, this is TR, I did never saw that kind of dagger. Could it be railway?

Unfortunatly I have only this small picture.

Yes, it is a known as a second model railway protection dagger. It is missing the lower scabbard band. Not much else can be said about it without better photo's.

I thought that, knowing only the other model.

There is no MM at the blade.
Are the makers known of this pattern? How should they be marked, and is no MM OK there?

The makers of this model are generally accepted as Eickhorn and Horster. However I know of two examples of Luneschloss.
The plain blade version is found on occasion.
Missing a scabbard ring on a plain bladed version would effect the desirability to many collectors IMO.

Many believe them to be Hörster product.
