The camo painted tripod with the MG 34 mounted on it came from a bunker in Norway. It took 4 times trying to get it into the U.S. as a weapons tripod until we agreed to change it to "camera" tripod. A beautiful Luftwaffe marked tripod.
I am glad you like the stuff. We are only here a short time and I just am the current caretaker of the "stuff". This all started with the Garand rifles in the rack in the backround. Before that I was a casual looker and occasional buyer of a .22 or something. Once I got that first Garand, I was hooked for good.
For long range I use the Barrett M82A1. It has proven to be very reliable, low recoil and very, very (extremely) accurate. I also use the M-21 version of the M-14.
I have a bolt action single shot .50 cal. BMG rifle made by Bluegrass Armory. It is the Viper XL model and it hurts to shoot, hence I bought the Barrett.
Night and day difference, no flinching or 'pulling'.

Very nice Kingtiger. The Barrett is great.
I have a spesial build HD Precision 308 Match rifle for Longrange now.
I have a Springfield M1A E 2 some year ago and a FN Fal G 1 with scope.
Im pretty happy with the HD rifle. 800 meters 98 clic up
That is a 7 foot long cut away model of an M1 Garand rifle used to train troops in basic training. Every part is to scale and works, including the en bloc clip and plastic cartridges. I also have the training flip charts that were used in WWII showing how to strip one and also one on how to sight one in.
My friend who sold that one to me also has a Thompson and a BAR with display stands for sale. He wants $1,500 for each. I was only interested in the Garand.
Good eyes to spot it.
LH, Yep that is a Johnson...I got it from a father and son from Minnesota who attend every SOS show and they each have one but needed to sell that one in order to keep theirs. I could not believe what I was looking at when I saw it. I gave them a deposit and went right to the book seller guys at the show and read all the stuff I could find to know what to look for. It was correct and I paid $7,000.00 to get it. It is truly a prized possession. I have never seen one again in that fine condition.
Now here is another one for you to take a shot at...??? What is it?
