Hi, can any help me out, i belive this is a knot for a sword on police bayonet
and the value. the knot is about 16" long

What color is the dot? A grey dot would be Heer, red dot would be Feuerwehr & a black dot would be SS (or early Polizei I think). Nicely conditioned knot!
