etched bayonet opinions please

Hi,
Need your opinions on this ,comes from a friends collection so i can return it, the etching appears to be very nicely done is it a period type and applied the only odd thing to me is the solingen stamp were they applied like this in this format[on a etched one] and its not straight.

Doesnt appear to have any drag marks...I view this one suspiciously..

I think the first red flag is the fact the blade is simply marked solingen,which I think is more likely found on post war items.Though it is a well made piece.
