Hello all, Can anyone give me a ballpark value figure on a Himmler Damascus Brithday Sword issued to the various TR recipients? Are they valued according to the person who was presented with one or do they all have the same value? How many known examples are out there?

There are over 20 known, at one time I think Bob Waitts had about 14 of them ! The most desirable are those awarded to the 'top dogs' such as Bormann, Ribbentrop and the real SS Generals - as opposes the pen pushers/bankers and imperial generals - though I would very happily take any and every one I could if I had the money
