          Looks like a repro to me Andy. The definition of the crossguard is poor, the grip shape looks wrong, and the Swaz should be on a separate disc pressed into the crossguard on this type. Leter aluminum models were one-piece, but not the nickel type.

              I compared with the one I purchased and yours looks different from the swastika , the handle ,the leather looks textured on my handle and scabbard , has a K on the cross guard and stamp on the scabbard .I probably paid allot more though ,,,

                Is there a scabbard? If so, could you please post an image of the throat stamping?

                  I'm afraid I have to agree with Red. The pommel is smaller & seems of a different shape that period originals.

                    Great crossgrain on the finger prints. Look at the offset swastika. The whole piece looks mis-shapened.

                        Thanks for the replies guys.Ill keep it in my cuboard and get it out occasionaly
                        to swear at.Ill put it down to experience being mugged for £100There is no scabbard.
