Presentation K98 bayonet

Hey guys Im at the show and a fellow dealer brought this over for an evaluatiion, its a presentation K98 bayonet with no maker marks on blade or frog. Extremely well done, scarily so,,,,what's your opinion on this one?

I think it is a fake because it is made with a standard K98 bayonet. We can find a lot of engraved K98 bayonets blades which have been made after the war. Real engraved blades are usually on dress bayonets.

I agree, completely postwar. Looks like an embellished Holler etch variation.

Thanks, thats pretty much what I told them that presentation bayonets were by far the parade plated type, although they insist its a direct bring back, made me very cautious, wonder why we arent seeing more of these, a lot of work went into it.
