    Eickhorn Heer dagger - QUESTION

    Hi all;
    I bought my first heer dagger from Niemann;
    the dagger is good condition, but I have a question about the grip:
    one side has a nice orange color and one side has a slightly discoloration towards a yellow tone.
    Is it normal this "discoloration"?

            Perfectly acceptable. One side has been exposed to sunlight and the grip color has faded on that side. You see this many times. Nice dagger. Charlie

                  Nice dagger.
                  Here is another example of double colour on grip.
                  I've find this Lüneschloss Heer with knot always attached since the war.
                  Not the same sunlight exposition, not the same colour.
