    Question on NSKK dagger

    Hello everyone,
I have today been offered an NSKK dagger, which is 100% the real deal.
However I have a lack of knowledge about the regulations relating to the daggers.
The one I have been offered has an nskk eagle emblem notched into the reverse side of the grip. The person who offered it to me, also admits he has never seen this before. Perhaps its been done by the original proud owner?
Were there any regulations regarding this? The emblem fits reasonably well although obviously not been done in the factory.
Apart from this one aspect its in very good condition. Sorry there are no photos, but any help would be appreciated.

    best wishes John

This would not be allowed under regulations, sounds very odd
you would have trouble explaining this if you wanted to sell
later on. If it was a very good price then may be, but if it,s
the same as a regular one leave it alone.
    Regards
    Mametz

Thanks mametz, I had my doubts.
Its the same price as a regular one so I will leave it to the owner.
I was not up on the regs, when I asked if I could take some photos of it, it was a definite NO from the seller. So I had a red flag straight off.

Thanks again and kind regards , John
