I will be posting a few items that are being offered to me by a widow of a vet...she needs the $$. Can you give me an idea if the item is original and if is considered special or desirable? Thanks in advance! She also has a few medals and beers mugs I will post. The mugs might be fantasy.....we shall she!

Cary they all imo are genuine period daggers/knife/bayos , i see no red flags & all are pretty standard items,

Thanks guys! Now I just need to see what she wants for them. The mugs her husband also collected that I posted on the SS Forum are all fantasy items...fakes.

Was he WWII combat Vet? I am a Vet too, but not WWII.

Fantasy mugs do not fit. I see nothing wrong the edged weapons that are posted, just odd a Vet would buy those particular items. The blades also look polished or cleaned, could be the photos but appears that way in the HJ and SA. Not something WWII Vet's do much in my experience.
