    Can we see some better pics of the blade etch? I don't think I've seen an etched Aesculap bayonet before.

              Very nice, thanks very much. I can't speak for the rest of the membership but I believe an Aesculap blade with such an engraving is quite rare.

                  Your knot is an enlisted Troddel for the Heer. Since it is missing some cloth it is not possible to tell if it is a staff Troddel or a training company but the ball and the crown should be the same color.
