2nd pattern Luftwaffe dagger with hangers

Greetings all

Another recent find, no maker mark present, however on the tang there is a shield with a cross within?

Any idea on maker or general comments about the dagger would be appreciated as I know nothing about them!

hello,,well I see the hangers are not luft,,there army,,,,,I cant tell maker ,,is the blade marked?....

Thanks I picked up an SA, Luft and Army dagger from the same fellow who had owned them for 30 years he must have accidently put the wrong hangers on this one!

Luft 2nd Model

The Luft Dagger appears to be fine to me. Many were constructed without marks. The hangers are Army. There are those smarter than me, about this subject, who can tell what parts companies furnished pieces to whom ever made this piece. Many firms were small and got materials from larger manufacturers.
