Opinions on Early Eickhorn HJ Knife

Here is an HJ knife with what I am told is a very early Eickhorn TM. A very ugly one indeed. Has anyone seen or have a similar trade mark on one of their blades?

            Blade

Blade with motto, very slightly sharpened.

This is the very early single oval Eickhorn squirrel logo, i see your hj knife has had the front griplate replaced with a different daimond pattern than the rear early type griplate , also the replaced griplate has the larger type daimond yours should be the early smaller type, apart from that your knife is genuine & the scabbard looks to have a period paint job by its hj owner.
Victorbaule, why do you think this hj is POST WAR???
                      Regards Scott.

I admit it first confused me. Never saw this early logo and that big gap on the grip edge... But Sweezz is right. The motto on the blade, the quillion... it's all good.

                            Original Knife.
                            Scarce early Eickhorn logo.

Sweezz is correct on all accounts.
