Early HJ knife with Motto by Robert Muller

    Greetings all

I would appreciate some information on the attached knife which has just been aquired locally from Dunedin.

It has the obvious disadvantage of the damaged grip on one side, this appears to have been done many moons ago judging by the metal discolouration under the grip.

I would appreciate a date range of production and also an estimated value as I may list on the e-stand.

The diamond is in excellent condition and is the type that has the small amount of give or movement when touched.

    Many thanks in advance

Hi this hj knife would date around 1936-1938, pity about the broken backplate this would lower the price a good bit to around $200max.
            Cheers Scott.

shame about the plates, least its the back for display alot of value is held in the blade, its ok but with the obvious greying and spots but i like it, its a nice early tranistional period, hilt yet no rzm markings...
