DLV KNIFE, Comments and viewing

Hello Guy's I am back on line after a slight hiatus. This is an early DLV by SMF.

I believe it is pretty nice with the only issue being a strip of missing blue leather on one edge side.

Is there a way to treat or preserve the edge of the strip so more material does not peel off.?? It is also is missing a screw on the lower fitting. Any ideas on that as well.
