HJ Knife markings-Opinions please

I would appreciate any opinions on the markings on this HJ knife. I have other knives made by AWJ, and this MM seems to be a little odd.

Hi i see no red flags with this Anton Wingen jr makers logo or the insignia on your hj knife its 100% period & correct............Cheers Scott.

I agree with Scott. The Knight maker mark does not appear on all of this makers knives.

I have a '39' without the Knight, and there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern trying to figure out why some have it, and some don't. Likely to be related to certain batches or production runs I guess.

What I am talking about is the details of the Knight. I have located and photo'd two of my other AWJ's as a reference. Also, if you view this MM's web site, there is a difference as well.

Believe me, there is nothing wrong with the Knight on your knife. This is seen on many of their knives on the ricasso. The other version(s) are seen more often on the blade.

Thanks for all of your input, this is the first HJ that I have purchased, (have wanted one for a long time, just too involved in buying fighting knives) I am not familiar with the markings on them and could not find another with the same configuration of knight.

Its all good so no worries , what i meant by 'camp' is that the knight chap looks alittle 'minicing' perhaps, (not chasing the girls round)
