SS Bayonet Fantasy Or Legit

I just picked this up this morning i have my doubts im sure its fantasy piece i know the dress bayoent is real im just curious about the ss insignia if this actually existed

The piece could be a normal dress bayonet, with postwar added SS emblem. best regards,Andy

Yeh, it's a post-war addition. Nothing about the way it was added looks good. It would be good to have a dagger expert say something about the insignia as those types were used for SS daggers. If real, the SS insignia could be worth something as well. Regarding the bayonet, you are correct that it is indeed real.
