Well

I am no expert but I like it. It does seem to have some issues in terms of condition, but other than that a nice piece. What I like is the finish still present on the swastikas. What I am not too sure about is the leather on the scabbard. The leather on the handle and the buffer pad is ok.

It looks a all original although it is not in great condtion. First Lufts by Herder are hard to find.

Original IMO. Interesting if the maker is rare because many advanced collectors are only interested in aluminium First model Luftw.'s if they are in a pristine condition. Or they hunting for the perfect patined nikkel silver one's.
